Zumba

Cor Studio offers Zumba classes – a Latin-inspired, interval-style dance fitness program. This workout combines multiple elements of fitness including cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. My classes incorporate various genres of music and styles of dance including Punjabi, Reggaeton, Pop, Moombahton, R&B and Salsa. Zumba is all inclusive as the movements can be altered to suit your health and fitness needs.

Dance has been integral to various cultures throughout time, holding significance as a cultural, healing, social, spiritual, theatrical or fitness practice. So no matter who you are, whether you want to invest in your physical or mental wellbeing, celebrate or reconnect, there is a form of movement for you.

I am primarily trained in Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) classical ballet. I have also completed training in Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) Modern Jazz, Tap and the Jason Winters’ Contemporary Syllabus. Though I did not pursue dance professionally, it remained a powerful tool in maintaining my physical and mental health. So, during university I became a qualified Zumba instructor having completed the Basics Level 1 training. Since, I have gained experience offering this class in multiple settings across Brisbane and Melbourne in gyms, schools and dance academies.

I bring a vibrant energy, exciting music, and a safe and transformative atmosphere to any community that would like to incorporate the joy and movement of dance. Whether it be a regularly scheduled or one off event such as a wellness or team bonding initiative you may like to collaborate with me.
