TELEHEALTH COUNSELLING

I offer 50-minute personalised online therapy sessions for young adults. Telehealth may be an ideal mode of therapy for you when accessibility is a priority — whether due to work, school, family commitments, or travel challenges.

AREAS OF INTERESTS

Adjustment disorders and life transitions

Navigating immigration, career changes, relationship challenges, or experiencing the loss of a loved one can be deeply overwhelming. I offer support through these transitions, helping clients process emotions, build resilience, and find a renewed sense of direction and purpose.

Difficulties with mood and anxiety

If you’re experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, lack of energy, a loss of interest in activities, excessive worry, self-criticism, or anxiety, therapy can offer support. I aim to help you explore factors contributing to these challenges, developing strategies that balance self-compassion and accountability, to improve your emotional wellbeing.

Relational or attachment issues

For those experiencing interpersonal or relational difficulties, I focus on helping you build secure attachments, establish healthy boundaries, enhance emotional and social intelligence, explore communication styles, develop conflict resolution skills, and foster meaningful connections.

Self-development and identity

I support clients pursuing therapy for self-discovery and personal growth, offering insights into patterns of thought and behaviour. This can empower you to build your self-esteem and make positive changes in your life. I also provide guidance for clients exploring personal identity, particularly in relation to cross-cultural, familial, or religious and spiritual factors.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

I am well-suited for clients who value a reflective and introspective approach to therapy. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-based principles, drawing on cognitive, psychodynamic, humanistic, and narrative therapies to explore your unique experiences and concerns. Alongside this, I offer practical tools and strategies from behavioural and solution-focused therapies, with the aim of equipping you with skills to confidently navigate life beyond therapy.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

My diverse experience spans schools, early childhood intervention centres and private practice. I have worked with clients across the lifespan, but found that I particularly enjoy working with young adults. In addition to the private work I do at Cor Studio, I am a school psychologist supporting a varied cohort of international students from regions across Asia and the Middle East. This breadth of experience equips me with a unique perspective on understanding culture, identity, human behaviour, and their impact on communities.
